The Hotel Caravel is an historic hotel located in a very interesting area of Rome for both tourist and business travelers. The renovation of the hotel was imagined, and then partly realized, inspired by the name of the hotel and the Street in which it is located (Cristoforo Colombo), and therefore, the design that today characterizes the property is inspired by this theme, trying to represent the voyages of Columbus through lands rich in bright colors and warm atmospheres. Therefore each floor, albeit with discretion and sobriety, differs substantially in bright colors that should have appeared to the great navigator during his trips.
The rooms, substantially identical, are different in colors and designs of the curtains, the colors of the lights (sconces and chandeliers). 50% of the rooms are non-smoking.
